Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development, Neurology
Neurocrine Biosciences
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical development strategy and medical oversight for assigned neurology programs
- Design and oversee Phase 1-3 clinical studies including protocols, safety monitoring, and development plans
- Drive program-level clinical decisions and regulatory strategy with cross-functional teams
- Analyze, interpret, and present clinical data to internal committees and external stakeholders
- Build relationships with investigators, key opinion leaders, and external collaborators
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with 4+ years pharmaceutical/CRO drug development experience
- Board certification in Neurology strongly preferred
- Clinical development experience in movement disorders strongly preferred
- Experience leading clinical development activities and registrational studies
- Prior regulatory agency interactions and submission contributions
- Expertise in study design, safety assessment, and regulatory requirements
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence capabilities
