Sales Engineer | AI Security Infrastructure | US, East Coast | Remote Our client, a category-defining AI security startup, is looking for a highly credible Sales Engineer to act as the technical truth serum in the room, proving to CISOs and security architects that their cutting-edge platform is not only effective, but safe. In security deals, time-to-technical-validation is the biggest lever on the sales cycle. You will exist to remove stall points, getting ahead of complex architecture and data-handling objections. We need: 5+ years of technical pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML, or enterprise infrastructure. You have a rock-solid grasp of Cloud Security, SecOps, SIEM/SOAR, and threat detection. You are hands-on: you can read/write basic scripts (Python, Bash), navigate APIs, and speak with authority on cloud architecture. Most importantly, you know how to convert technical interest into a tightly scoped, winnable POC. Experience with LLM-based products or Terraform is a strong advantage. What you'll own: The entire technical evaluation lifecycle. You will run tailored, environment-specific demos, design and execute rigorous POCs with unambiguous success criteria, and serve as the trusted technical advisor to enterprise security leaders.
