Hiring Female DSP Caregivers in Purcellville, Virginia

Butterfly Home Care is hiring Female Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Caregivers to provide compassionate, individualized support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout Northern Virginia .

? Location: Sterling, Virginia and surrounding Northern Virginia communities
? Pay: $18 per hour
? Schedule: Part-Time & Full-Time
? Position: Female Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

As a Direct Support Professional , you will provide individualized assistance and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meals

• Providing personal assistance according to each individual's care and service plan

• Supporting clients during community outings, recreational activities, appointments, and social activities

• Providing companionship and positive emotional support

• Supporting communication and participation in daily activities

• Assisting with household and routine daily tasks

• Helping maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment

• Following individualized service plans and caregiver instructions

• Completing accurate daily DSP documentation and progress notes

• Communicating important updates with families, supervisors, and the care team

• Following agency policies, care requirements, and applicable state regulations

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of caregiving experience to become a DSP. Women who are compassionate, dependable, patient, and willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 18 years old

• Compassionate and patient personality

• Dependable and responsible

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow care plans and instructions

• Previous DSP, PCA, caregiver, healthcare, or human services experience is preferred but not required

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings

• Authorized to work in the United States

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
