Key Responsibilities\n

• Evaluate clients' mental health diagnoses, formulate and implement personalized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation, including updates and case notes, in compliance with organizational policies.

• Manage a caseload of 25-30 clients, ensuring each appointment prioritizes high-quality care and community-focused service.

• Utilize innovative therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and family needs, fostering achievement and exceeding goals set during therapy.

• Prepare detailed session documentation according to Fort Bend Counseling Aid’s guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, medical personnel, and education staff, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our ideal therapist will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. You will support individuals facing various life challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Understanding and empathizing with the unique backgrounds and experiences of our clients are vital in providing effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

• Demonstrated knowledge of family therapy, community resources available for clients, and comfort with payment collection processes at the time of service.

• Experience in completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and comprehensive clinical documentation.

• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.

• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Compensation and Benefits\n
