Registered Nurse – Acute Care
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 48.00 Contract Weeks: 20
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- At least two years of recent experience in the field required
- Experience with EPIC and Cerner systems required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and nursing processes.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe and effective care.
- Collect and analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients and families.
