Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring timely assessment and intervention. Supervises and coordinates with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
  
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and safety standards.
  
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
  
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing team members, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
  
• Demonstrate at least two years of recent experience in Emergency Room nursing or acute care.
  
• Possess current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
  
• Have comprehensive knowledge of emergency protocols, medical terminology, and critical care skills.
  
• Exhibit excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking abilities.
