Position Title: Full-Time Gastroenterologist

Location: Ashtabula, OH

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our practice in Ashtabula, OH . This position offers a structured work schedule with 5 eight-hour shifts per week , comprising 1-2 clinic days and 3-4 procedure days . The focus of procedures will be on Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) , with minimal ERCPs required. You'll have the support of an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the clinic, enhancing patient care and efficiency. The GI clinic is onsite, making collaboration and continuity of care seamless.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical care in a busy GI clinic , with 1-2 days per week dedicated to outpatient consultations, follow-ups, and new patient evaluations.

• Perform procedures 3-4 days per week, with a focus on Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) procedures, diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal diseases.

• Work closely with the NP in the clinic to manage patient flow and treatment plans, ensuring efficient and comprehensive care.

• Collaborate with the GI clinic team to provide optimal patient care, focusing on high-quality service and patient satisfaction.

• Minimal ERCPs required for this role, making it an excellent opportunity for a GI physician with strong expertise in EUS .

Schedule:

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology .

• Expertise in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) , with a strong interest in diagnosing and managing GI conditions using this modality.

• Ability to work effectively with an NP in the clinic to manage patient flow and treatment.

• Active Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

• Strong communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent patient care and collaboration with the medical team.

Call Expectations:

• Minimal on-call requirements, with focus on the clinic and procedure-based work. Call is shared between the other two physicians and APP provider.
