Code Enforcement Officer

Part‑time Code Enforcement Officer in the Sonoma, CA area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enforcing local and state codes related to public health, safety, and welfare. Investigates and resolves complaints involving general nuisances, substandard housing conditions, and zoning violations. Conducts site inspections, document findings, and works with property owners to achieve compliance through education, notices, and enforcement actions. Coordinates with other departments and agencies as needed and ensures adherence to applicable municipal, state, and federal regulations. Job Requirements / Qualifications Current PC832 certification. Certification as a Code Enforcement Officer from CACEO or similar organization. 1 or more years' experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 1 year of municipal experience.
