Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for accounting? We’re seeking a highly efficient and accurate Bookkeeper Accountant to become a valued member of our team! We specialize in providing exceptional bookkeeping and financial reporting services to small businesses, helping them thrive and grow.

In this role, you’ll work closely with a variety of clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate and up to date. Your day-to-day tasks will include data entry, invoicing, payroll management, and assisting with financial reporting. If you’re a proactive communicator who enjoys collaborating with business owners and helping them stay on top of their finances, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoicing & Accounts Payable: Manage invoicing, process payables, and handle reconciliation of checks and credit cards.
• Payroll: Process payroll using Gusto, including tax filings and submission of 401K and Simple IRA payments.
• Financial Reporting & GL Reconciliation: Provide clear and accurate financial reports, reconcile General Ledger accounts, and update sales charts in Excel for each client.
• Client Communication: Respond promptly to client inquiries, offering friendly and professional support.

Qualifications:

• QuickBooks Online Experience: Strong knowledge and experience using QuickBooks Online.
• General Ledger Expertise: Proven ability to work with General Ledger and manage accounting functions.
• Excel Proficiency: Intermediate experience with Excel for updating and tracking financial data.
• Small Business Accounting Experience: Previous experience managing the books for small businesses.
• GAAP Knowledge: Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with current accounting software and reporting tools.
• Detail-Oriented & Deadline-Driven: Ability to maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent Communication Skills: A friendly and professional communicator with clients.
