Working closely with a dedicated COTA, you’ll have valuable support as you focus on helping students thrive and achieve their goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license for the state
• Previous experience in school-based settings highly preferred
• Familiarity with age-appropriate OT interventions from elementary to high school
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Knowledge of relevant IEP processes and special education protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to students’ developmental and academic needs across elementary and high school populations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and the COTA to optimize student progress
• Write and update evaluations, progress notes, and reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on assessments
• Support program development and best practices for occupational therapy in the educational setting
