Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
• Previous experience as an OT in school settings strongly preferred
• Skilled in assessment, IEP development, and documentation
• Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Positive attitude and a commitment to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify students’ needs
• Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to each student
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within classroom environments
• Supervise and guide the COTA in daily activities and assigned tasks
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings with accuracy and professionalism
• Adjust therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure optimal outcomes for students
