Senior Financial Analyst

We are assisting one of our clients with their search for a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, performance analytics, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This individual will partner closely with Finance and Operations leadership to evaluate business performance, develop reporting frameworks, and help build scalable processes that support continued growth.

• Location: Irvine, CA – primarily onsite
• Compensation: $105,000-$120,000 plus bonus

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis, providing insights into financial and operational performance
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and KPI reporting tools to support decision-making and performance visibility
• Analyze results across regions, branches, and service centers, identifying key business drivers and trends
• Partner with Finance and Operations teams to interpret performance, explain variances, and deliver actionable insights
• Improve reporting processes through automation, standardization, and enhanced data visibility
• Leverage tools such as Excel, Power BI, and related systems to streamline reporting and analysis

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3-6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical roles
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Ability to analyze financial and operational performance metrics and translate findings into insights
• Experience in multi-site or operationally intensive environments preferred
• Exposure to private equity-backed organizations is a plus
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
