Senior Associate Attorney

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role based in Altamonte Springs, FL. The Associate Attorney will handle client matters under the supervision of senior attorneys, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, as well as reviewing contracts and other legal documents. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing case law and statutes, preparing for hearings, depositions, and negotiations, and participating in client meetings. The role also involves providing clear, practical legal advice, managing case files and deadlines, and collaborating with colleagues and staff to support effective case strategy and client service. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law with the ability to interpret and apply statutes, regulations, and case law effectively. Experience or coursework in Labor and Employment Law, with interest in advising on workplace policies, compliance, and disputes. Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice tailored to client needs and risk considerations. Proficient in legal Research, including use of electronic research tools, and capable of drafting well-reasoned memoranda and briefs. Negotiation skills for resolving disputes, drafting settlement agreements, and representing clients in discussions with opposing parties. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership (or eligibility for admission) to the Florida Bar. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines. Professional demeanor, commitment to client service, and willingness to learn from and collaborate with senior attorneys and staff. Moderate to significant litigation experience and an basic understanding of submitting billable hours. However, our firm does not require more than 20 billable hours per week and encourages a balanced lifestyle while simultaneously offering strong incentives for applicants who value career progression.
