Our Client in Edison, NJ , is seeking B2B Strategic or Emerging Sales Account Managers for direct-hire roles.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:30 pm
Pay Rate: $70-80K DOE
Responsibilities
We are seeking sales-driven Account Managers to manage and grow wholesale customer accounts and retail/local store customer accounts. This role carries revenue responsibility and focuses on driving both initial growth and repeat sales, expanding product penetration and adoption, strengthening long-term partnerships with high-volume accounts, and supporting day-to-day customer needs.
Key Responsibilities | Strategic Accounts
Own sales performance and revenue growth for assigned key and wholesale accounts
Develop and execute account growth strategies, including pricing, volume programs, and product expansion
Lead commercial discussions, contract renewals, and sales negotiations
Actively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase account value
Collaborate with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to deliver on sales commitments
Key Responsibilities | Emerging Accounts
Own sales growth and customer retention for assigned retail and local store accounts
Actively promote products, new items, and programs to increase order volume
Manage customer orders, shipment coordination, and delivery follow-ups
Identify upsell opportunities and convert service interactions into sales opportunities
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
Qualifications
Experience in business-to-business sales or account management - 2+ years for Emerging or 4+ years for Strategic
Maintain accurate sales/customer activity, forecasts/sales tracking, and pipeline/follow-up tracking using CRM and ERP systems
Proven ability to drive sales growth within key or wholesale accounts
Experience in food service, retail, or wholesale environments preferred
Growth-oriented, organized, and relationship-driven
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills
Comfortable using ERP systems and CRM platforms
Team-oriented with a proactive, sales-focused mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
A bachelor’s or associate degree preferred, or equivalent experience
English required; bilingual in Chinese, Vietnamese, or Spanish preferred
