Our Client in Edison, NJ , is seeking B2B Strategic or Emerging Sales Account Managers for  direct-hire roles.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:30 pm
Pay Rate: $70-80K DOE

Responsibilities
We are seeking sales-driven Account Managers to manage and grow wholesale customer accounts and retail/local store customer accounts. This role carries revenue responsibility and focuses on driving both initial growth and repeat sales, expanding product penetration and adoption, strengthening long-term partnerships with high-volume accounts, and supporting day-to-day customer needs.

Key Responsibilities | Strategic Accounts

• Own sales performance and revenue growth for assigned key and wholesale accounts
• Develop and execute account growth strategies, including pricing, volume programs, and product expansion
• Lead commercial discussions, contract renewals, and sales negotiations
• Actively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase account value
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to deliver on sales commitments

Key Responsibilities | Emerging Accounts

• Own sales growth and customer retention for assigned retail and local store accounts
• Actively promote products, new items, and programs to increase order volume
• Manage customer orders, shipment coordination, and delivery follow-ups
• Identify upsell opportunities and convert service interactions into sales opportunities
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
  

Qualifications

• Experience in business-to-business sales or account management - 2+ years for Emerging or 4+ years for Strategic
• Maintain accurate sales/customer activity, forecasts/sales tracking, and pipeline/follow-up tracking using CRM and ERP systems
• Proven ability to drive sales growth within key or wholesale accounts
• Experience in food service, retail, or wholesale environments preferred
  Growth-oriented, organized, and relationship-driven
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills
• Comfortable using ERP systems and CRM platforms
• Team-oriented with a proactive, sales-focused mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
• A bachelor’s or associate degree preferred, or equivalent experience
• English required; bilingual in Chinese, Vietnamese, or Spanish preferred
