Los Angeles - Operations Manager

Job TitleManage day-to-day operations for the branch's air, ocean, and road freight activity, making sure shipments move on time, on budget, and in line with customer requirements.Lead, train, and develop a team of operations coordinators and specialists, setting clear priorities and holding the team accountable for service quality and productivity.Monitor operational KPIs such as on-time performance, shipment profitability, and exception rates, and put process improvements in place where results fall short.Work with carriers, agents, customs brokers, and warehouse partners to secure capacity, resolve service issues, and keep vendor performance where it needs to be.Ensure compliance with CBP, TSA, FMC, and other applicable regulations, along with internal quality standards and customer contract terms.Partner with sales and customer service to onboard new accounts, plan solutions for complex or project shipments, and keep key customers informed and satisfied.Coordinate with overseas offices and the wider global network to keep handoffs between origin and destination running smoothly.Founded in Denmark in 2001, this company has grown from a small Scandinavian forwarder into an international logistics provider with offices across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and other regions.
