About the role

We're hiring an Operations Lead to build and scale the operations behind Superpower's member experience. Your work will focus on scaling the workforce and systems needed to support a growing member base, through projects such as improving blood draw reliability, diagnostic delivery, and vendor performance.

You'll work closely with leadership to identify the most important problems, decide how to solve them, and own implementation. That could mean improving blood draw availability, building a staffing model for increased demand, or setting up the operations for a new service.

You'll work with member success, clinical operations, product, engineering, and external partners. We're looking for someone who can analyze a business problem, make a sound recommendation, and get into the details of making it work.

Success means more members receiving a reliable, high-quality experience, with service capacity, unit economics, and profitability improving as we grow. As you deliver, there is room to take on broader operational responsibility.
In this role, you will

• Improve blood draw operations. Expand appointment availability, improve completion and reliability, and reduce errors. Investigate where the experience breaks down and work with providers and internal teams to fix the underlying causes.
• Strengthen diagnostic and vendor operations. Improve the experience for members using specialty diagnostics, from ordering through completion. Evaluate partners, establish service standards, and manage performance and costs to improve reliability and margins.
• Build workforce capacity and efficiency. Forecast demand, model staffing needs, and improve how work is allocated across member success and clinical operations. Build systems and use AI and automation to increase productivity while maintaining service quality.
• Scale B2B operations. Partner with Customer Success to build repeatable processes for employer onboarding, employee activation, and ongoing service delivery. Make responsibilities and handoffs clear as the client base grows.
• Launch new operational capabilities. Own the setup for new services and delivery models, such as new blood draw modalities, prescription operations, or expansion of services like virtual appointments, advanced diagnostics, or specialty referrals. Define the pilot, secure the vendors and staffing, build the workflows, and stay accountable for performance after launch.
• Make operations more resilient. Turn successful improvements into repeatable processes with clear ownership, documentation, and performance measures. Strengthen the existing team's capacity and make critical work less dependent on any one person.

You might thrive in this role if you

• Have 5+ years of relevant experience across operations, strategy and operations, consulting, or building a company, including at least two years in an operating role.
• Have personally built or improved a business operation, such as a service delivery process, vendor network, or workforce model. You can explain what you owned, the decisions you made, and the results.
• Are AI-native. You know how to use AI to investigate problems, automate workflows, and scale operations.
• Think in systems. You look past one-off fixes to understand how incentives, handoffs, tools, data, and process interact, then redesign the system so the same problem stays solved.
• Understand P&L impact. You can connect operational decisions to revenue, gross margin, cost-to-serve, and profit, and prioritize work based on business impact even when you do not directly own the P&L.
• Are highly analytical and comfortable working directly with data. You can forecast demand, model capacity and costs, size opportunities, and use operational data to decide where to invest or change the approach.
• Know how to investigate an unfamiliar process, find the underlying cause of a problem, and carry a solution through implementation and measurement.
• Can work effectively with frontline teams, technical partners, vendors, and leadership. You communicate clearly, secure decisions, and follow through on commitments.
• Move comfortably between setting direction and doing the detailed work yourself. You take responsibility for whether an operation works after it launches.
• Care about improving healthcare and understand that reliability, convenience, and clear communication shape a member's experience.
