Lead Quality Inspector

Lead Quality Inspector Company: Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Services, is looking for a Lead Quality Inspector to join our team in Hialeah, FL. Position Responsibilities: Plans and prioritizes daily work schedule to meet department needs Delegates work with employees and drive resolution related to problem work orders Provide guidance and mentorship to other personnel Responsible for first-line direction of inspections/quality assurance associates involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems, standards and activities Recognize posting errors by receiving department as well as incorrect data entry by Quality Inspectors Identify opportunities for continuous improvements Leads the development and revision of certification procedures within the Company’s Quality Management System Provides leadership to pre-receiving personnel, Inbound and Outbound inspectors Ensures inspector capacity is adequate to meet daily customer demands Ensures inspected products meet customer and company quality requirements Ensures that the Inspection department meets and follows documented Quality systems procedures and policies Reports daily inspection metrics and take corrective actions to meet inspection goals Primary owner of all corrective actions in respective areas Change agent to promote continuous improvement techniques Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 6+ years of quality related work experience 1+ years of supervisory experience 3+ years working with multiple inspection tools (calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator, etc.) 3+ years of experience reading, and interpreting drawings or blueprints Experience working with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel and Power Point This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam. This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
