Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and specialized equipment, while managing overall patient care, safety, and monitoring before, during, and after procedures. Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks, including patient positioning, instrument selection, fluid/hemostasis management, and wound exposure. Participate in the unit’s rotational call schedule. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
