Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a dynamic educational environment serving preschool and elementary students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist! Two positions are available for compassionate SLPs ready to make a lasting difference in student communication and learning outcomes. Work in a supportive setting near Michigan City, IN—the district is seeking both seasoned CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (supervision provided). While onsite services are preferred, there is flexibility for a hybrid schedule. This is a full-time contract position, running from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent 7.5-hour workday.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Indiana SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCCs preferred, but strong CFs encouraged to apply (supervision offered)
- Experience or passion for serving preschool and/or elementary-aged students
- Comfortable collaborating in person, with flexibility for hybrid delivery
- Strong commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy to students in preschool and elementary settings
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes; participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members
- Support students’ expressive and receptive language development
