Associate Director, Oncology Key Accounts - Mid-South
Merck
Associate Director managing oncology key accounts across the Mid-South region for large group practices and integrated delivery networks. Responsible for building customer relationships, driving appropriate product utilization, and aligning business strategy with patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for large oncology group practices and integrated delivery networks in assigned territory
- Develop and execute coordinated account plans aligned with company strategy and customer needs
- Lead cross-functional internal teams to maximize appropriate product utilization and patient outcomes
- Analyze account performance data to identify engagement opportunities and business trends
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers across accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 2 years healthcare, life sciences, sales, account management, or managed care experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 50%
- Strong financial acumen with ability to communicate value and negotiate terms
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior healthcare executives and key opinion leaders
- Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystem and strong leadership capabilities
- Oncology experience in healthcare or life sciences strongly preferred
