As a physical therapist with our organization, you will be a crucial partner in guiding patients on their journey toward motion restoration and optimal functionality. Your expertise will help us improve the quality of life for our clients through effective promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation strategies.

Work Environment

This role is based in our onsite rehabilitation facility, which fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will be working alongside a skilled team of two physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering recovery and functional improvement. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, offering you a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring you can provide consistent care for your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and meet individual patient goals and needs, developing customized treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Deliver care to 2-3 patients per hour, maximizing movement potential with efficient yet compassionate service.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques to enhance mobility, ensuring cost-effective interventions that reduce reliance on medications and the need for surgeries.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs focused on improving patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Provide quality, personalized, evidence-based care while utilizing proven interventions to motivate and empower patients during their rehabilitation journey.
• Consult with and collaborate alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and communicate updates with both patients and healthcare teams.
• Document all patient care services and maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Virginia Physical Therapist license with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR software applications, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient record management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment is preferred, allowing you to hit the ground running in providing effective physical therapy services.
• Additional certifications or specialized training in therapeutic techniques will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 10,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
