Direct Counsel is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join a national law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Overview

Direct Counsel is recruiting a junior to mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of law firm experience to join a sophisticated Global Commercial Disputes practice . The ideal candidate will have experience in complex commercial litigation, business disputes, product liability, and/or mass torts .

Candidates will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of disputes involving businesses, consumers, and other clients, including breach of contract, business torts, fraud, consumer protection, and product liability matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation and business disputes from inception through resolution.

• Assist with matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and other business torts .

• Work on unfair and deceptive trade practices and consumer protection matters.

• Assist with product liability and mass tort litigation.

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.

• Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and other phases of litigation as appropriate.

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop litigation strategies.

• Collaborate with partners, clients, and other attorneys on sophisticated disputes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of law firm experience in complex commercial litigation.

• Background in commercial litigation, business disputes, product liability, and/or mass torts .

• Experience with breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, unfair and deceptive trade practices, consumer protection, or related business tort claims is valued.

• Outstanding academic credentials.

• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.

• Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus but not required.

• Current member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing , or willingness to take the Pennsylvania Bar at the first available opportunity.

• JD from an accredited law school.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this role is $235,000–$260,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
