Job Summary

The File Clerk is a detail-oriented and organized individual who manages and maintains company records, documents, and project files. The File Clerk ensures the efficient organization, retrieval, and disposal of files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, maintain, and update physical and digital files, including geotechnical reports, soil test results, permits, and project documentation.
• Retrieve files and records for engineers, project managers, and other staff as needed.
• Implement and maintain a systematic filing system for easy access to records.
• Scan, photocopy, and digitize documents for electronic storage.
• Ensure compliance with document retention policies and confidentiality regulations.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of reports and other documents.
• Coordinate with other departments to manage document flow and storage.
• Dispose of outdated or unnecessary records following company policies.
• Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, correspondence, and office support tasks.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in office administration is a plus.
• Experience in recordkeeping, filing, or administrative support preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with geotechnical engineering terminology is a plus but not required.
• Valid state driver’s license is preferred.
• Ability to pass Eustis Engineering’s required background check as well as our drug/alcohol screening.
