Community Manager

Role Summary As a Community Manager, you will build authority and manage reputation on owned and third-party channels like Reddit and LinkedIn . You will serve as the vital link between our users and our internal product and support teams. In this role, you will be the “boots on the ground,” translating community needs into technical reality and ensuring our users have the information they need to succeed with our product. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute integrated Reddit and LinkedIn strategies, including SEO, engagement-driven native posting, and B2B audience growth. Manage branded channels (branded subreddit and LinkedIn company page/groups): maintain the content calendar, create platform-tailored content, and manage posting. Drive activations across target subreddits and relevant LinkedIn groups/industry discussions by identifying engagement opportunities and crafting value-add content. Monitor community threads and comments across Reddit and LinkedIn 5 days per week, providing daily reactive commenting. Feedback Synthesis: Identify, categorize, and prioritize user feedback and feature requests from community threads and professional discussions. Product Liaison: Relay summarized user insights to internal Product Teams to inform the development cycle. Technical Triage: Identify complex user issues and route them to the correct internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for resolution. Active Moderation: Enforce community guidelines across platforms to maintain brand safety, reputation, and community health. Daily Updates: Execute a consistent rhythm of branded updates and communications. Provide comprehensive reporting on engagement, SEO, impressions, and sentiment tracking for product launches. Perform LLM citation audits to measure brand visibility in AI-generated responses. Bonus Points We are looking for someone who enjoys “talking shop” and isn’t afraid to dive into the details. Documentation Skills: Talent for translating complex technical jargon into clear, readable community posts and professional social content. Tracking Tools: Hands-on experience using tools like Jira or GitHub to track bugs and community issues. Data Awareness: Comfort using data tools to visualize community trends and support findings. Support/DevRel Experience: A background in technical support or developer relations managing high-touch interactions. Engagement Terms This is a part-time Independent Contractor position . The contractor is responsible for their own taxes and is not eligible for company benefits. The role requires the contractor to provide their own resources and manage their own work schedule while being accountable for the deliverables outlined in the scope of work.
