As a Staff Account Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Manage a large volume of invoices, vendor disbursements, and employee expense submissions with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines.

• Review vendor account activity, perform statement reconciliations, and address billing or payment discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Support monthly close procedures by preparing reconciliations, assisting with ledger balancing, and contributing to financial reporting activities.

• Record and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger balances and support overall accounting integrity.

• Work closely with departments across the organization and with outside vendors to ensure transactions align with established financial policies and procedures.

• Assist with tax-related accounting tasks, including support for corporate tax, sales tax, and related compliance documentation where needed.

The Ideal Staff Accountant will meet the following requirements:

• Prior experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role handling accounts payable and reconciliation activities.

• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and month-end close processes.

• Experience supporting corporate tax, sales tax, or corporate tax return activities.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume transactional work accurately.

• Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

• Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools used for reporting, reconciliation, and transaction review.
