Staff Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer - Future Forward

Staff-level electrical engineer needed to design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for next-generation robotic and vision systems at an early-stage product development team. Role spans schematic capture through manufacturing transfer, with emphasis on signal integrity, EMC compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits from concept through schematic capture, PCB layout direction, and prototype bring-up
• Lead design reviews and guide PCB layout to ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability standards
• Design EMC and EMI mitigation strategies from initial architecture through compliance testing and pre-compliance validation
• Prototype bring-up, lab debugging, and root-cause analysis of hardware failures with verified fixes
• Mentor junior engineers, establish design practices, and partner with Mechanical, Firmware, Software, and Test teams on subsystem integration

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience designing production electronics in medical device, automotive, or robotics industries
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Expert-level schematic design and debug skills using Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, or Siemens Xpedition
• Practical EMC and EMI design experience with knowledge of IEC 60601-1-2, CISPR 11/32, or IEC 61000-4 standards
• Strong signal and power integrity fundamentals for high-speed interfaces such as MIPI CSI-2, LVDS, PCIe, or Ethernet
• Direct experience with imaging hardware, motor drive electronics, or precision sensing in production environments
• Proficiency with lab instrumentation including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and protocol analyzers; fluency in Python or MATLAB
