Location: Marquette, MI

Start Date: 08/05/2026

Shift: 6am-6pm in the facility, 6pm-6am on-call, 24 hours/day

Duration: Ongoing, 10-14 days per month

Hours/Week: Approximately 40-50 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract (W-2)

Licensing/Certifications: Board eligible or certified in Neonatology, NRP certification required

Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting
• Manage respiratory and ventilator support, including oscillators and iNO
• Perform procedures like intubation, chest tube placement, central line insertions, spinal taps, and exchange transfusions
• Stabilize critically ill newborns for transfer or treatment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatrics, neurology, infectious disease, and specialty consultants
• Follow hospital protocols and maintain patient records using Cerner EHR system

What You Need

Required:

• Board eligible or certified in Neonatology
• NRP certification
• Experience with neonatal procedures and ventilator management
• Active license to practice in Michigan

Preferred:

• Prior NICU experience in a Level III environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
