Job Description
As a Security Officer Part Time Access Verification in Pontiac MI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel at a technology media and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and visitor authorization maintain visitor logs and direct individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site requirements.
- Operate access-control systems issue and collect visitor badges or temporary credentials and report access discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents access-control concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points common areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
