MRI Technologist (PRN)

The MRI Technologist role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures with independence, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast media, reviewing image quality, and responding to emergencies. Skills required include excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong knowledge of MRI techniques, anatomy, and safety protocols. Qualifications include a certificate in Radiologic Technology, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical experience, preferably in MRI. Additional duties involve equipment maintenance, quality control, supporting department operations, documentation, and training team members. Must demonstrate dependability, cooperation, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
