Role Overview: The CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging at a healthcare facility, supporting patient care and department operations. Responsibilities Include Performing CT procedures according to guidelines, capturing diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure. Operating imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques as needed. Maintaining cleanliness and safety of rooms and equipment, reporting issues promptly. Gathering patient history, verifying orders, and ensuring patient safety. Explaining procedures, addressing patient questions, and providing age-appropriate care. Administering contrast media using sterile techniques and performing correct patient positioning. Reviewing images for quality, repeating scans if necessary, and documenting accurately in RIS/PACS. Monitoring patient condition, responding to emergencies, and maintaining life-support equipment. Organizing workflow, supporting departmental operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support).
