Mammography Technologist - Float Team

This role is for a Mammography Technologist supporting multiple imaging locations within a regional diagnostic team. As a key team member, you will perform high-quality mammography exams, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and clear communication. Responsibilities Include Executing mammography procedures according to physician orders and protocols. Gathering patient history, screening for contraindications, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety. Protecting patient privacy and dignity, positioning patients safely, and assisting with transfers. Reviewing images for quality and completeness, maintaining high acceptance rates. Operating equipment safely, ensuring proper dose and technique, and adhering to infection control standards. Performing quality control tests, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. Labeling, documenting images accurately, and managing daily procedures and inventory. Providing clear instructions, addressing patient questions, and supporting team training. Maintaining professional communication and working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 2 years of hospital radiologic and mammography experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications, and BLS certification.
