Job Description:
As a Senior Project Manager , you will lead the planning, coordination, and resolution of complex benefits, payroll, integration, and enterprise application issues. This role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills to drive issue resolution from identification through deployment, reconciliation, remediation, and closure while ensuring business continuity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage a centralized backlog of issues, risks, dependencies, and remediation activities.

• Lead cross-functional teams to investigate, prioritize, and resolve complex business and technology issues.

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across technical, business, payroll, finance, and vendor workstreams.

• Coordinate root-cause analysis, corrective actions, testing activities, and production deployments.

• Facilitate issue triage, working sessions, decision meetings, and executive status reviews.

• Track action items, ownership, deliverables, and timelines while ensuring accountability across teams.

• Manage dependencies among integrations, applications, vendors, and business processes.

• Oversee testing, validation, reconciliation, and release readiness activities.

• Identify, monitor, and escalate project risks, resource constraints, and unresolved issues.

• Provide executive-level reporting on project status, issue resolution progress, financial impacts, and key performance metrics.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 6 years of project management experience leading complex business and technology initiatives.

• Proven experience managing enterprise application, ERP, payroll, benefits, or human capital management projects.

• Strong expertise in issue management, risk management, stakeholder communication, and escalation processes.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and technical resources.

• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, project governance, and change management practices.

• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to lead testing, deployment, reconciliation, and operational stabilization efforts.

• PMP or CAPM certification preferred or eligibility to pursue project management certification.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and executive reporting skills.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
