Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

Assignment Details

1 year of experience required; first timers not accepted. RTO: Maximum 7 days. Average daily census of 135 with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic and Pyxis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including infants and geriatrics.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
