Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to consults, admissions, and provider rounds, documenting patient interactions and managing orders and treatments effectively.
• Enter admission orders, as well as preoperative and postoperative instructions, maintaining accuracy and adhering to established timelines.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the process.
• Facilitate timely communication with patients and their families, providing updates on treatment plans and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Work flexible assigned shifts and be available for on-call duties as needed, ensuring continuous patient care coverage.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information and billing documentation, maintaining the utmost privacy and confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner at Valley Urgent Care will primarily serve a diverse patient population within an assisted living setting. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
