Service Coordinator

Performs all functions relating to the sale and/or handling of replacement parts and accessories. Assist customers with parts requirements. Processing order paperwork and shipment of parts to maintain company standard of customer satisfaction. Aid and work to implement strategic pricing strategies and pricing programs. Service Coordinator communicates with customers and the shop. Prevost is looking for someone in the auto/truck repair industry that can efficiently schedule shop repairs and speak to customers about issues and costs. If you prioritize customer satisfaction, timeliness, and strong communication skills, you will be an ideal candidate. Core Responsibilities Respond customer inquiries about replacement parts, accessories or technical support. Answer phone calls and gather data needed to identify parts requirements. Package parts and accessories for shipment to the appropriate destination. Process special order requests when necessary. Assist parts sales specialists and warehouse specialists in the processing of orders. Process branch service department parts orders. Maintain up‑to‑date documentation relating to parts and accessories. Maintain work area and environment. Participate in job‑related training exercises when appropriate or necessary. Welcome customers or respond to customer phone requests. Finalize work order processing and invoicing. Distribute and keep technical information up to date. Train co‑workers on various aspects of their work responsibilities or expertise, as requested. Handle a high volume of calls. Process work orders. Close repair orders. Coordinate for repair estimates with technicians and managers. Required Competencies Safeguard organizational and personal information confidentiality. Foster teamwork and improved communications between sectors. Develop personal professional skills. Act as a worthy representative of Prevost. Minimum Education Required HS diploma or GED preferred. One year vocational training or two years in the automotive/truck/bus industry preferred. Good communication skills. Technical knowledge is a strong plus. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Working knowledge of SAP preferred. Minimum Years Of Experience Required 3‑5 years of customer service experience preferred. Physical Requirements Sitting Bending Standing Walking Lifting up to 20lbs. For this position, the base pay is set at $32.00 - $35.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as the final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work‑related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
