Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders and staff through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, commuters, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout platforms, stations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to access points and restricted areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, helping to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines, and support security-related response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
