Job Description As a Security Officer Access Patrol Monitor in Redmond, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.10 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thu10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security‑related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and report maintenance, life protection, and/or policy‑related issues to the appropriate personnel. Support site operations by completing incident reports, shift activity logs, and other assigned records, while following Allied Universal standards and location‑specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
