Animal Hospital of East Davie is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our boarding and grooming facility.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services for everything from routine wellness visits to urgent care, boarding, and grooming through our Davie Dog House. Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $15 - 17 per hour, for each hour worked
• Schedule: This is a full-time position with a set, predictable schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Shifts rotate between 6 and 10 hours depending on the day, totaling approximately 3032 hours per week. You'll always know when you're coming in, and you'll have Thursdays and weekends to recharge. No on-call requirements.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Experience with boarding and grooming facilities is preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
• Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark, preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
• Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
• Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
