Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Animal Hospital of East Davie is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our boarding and grooming facility!

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services - for everything from routine wellness visits to urgent care, boarding, and grooming through our Davie Dog House. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment where clients know you by name and you genuinely love coming to work.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $15 - 17 per hour, for each hour worked
• Schedule: This is a full-time position with a set, predictable schedule - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Shifts rotate between 6 and 10 hours depending on the day, totaling approximately 30-32 hours per week. You'll always know when you're coming in, and you'll have Thursdays and weekends to recharge. No on-call requirements.

M inimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Experience with boarding and grooming facilities is preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark, preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
