Job Description

Seeking a full-time Intellectual Property Specialist to join our team in a non-attorney, support staff capacity. This role is ideal for experienced patent prosecution legal support professionals. We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and e-file patent prosecution documents with the USPTO.
\n
• Prepare and proofread client correspondence.
\n
• Manage an independent workload and maintain deadlines.
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of current patent prosecution secretarial or legal support experience.
\n
• This position is not for attorneys or law school graduates.
\n

\n

\n

Desired Skills & Qualities:

• Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
\n
• Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
\n
• High attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
\n
• Advanced MS Word skills with fast and accurate typing (minimum 50 wpm).

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
