Job Description As a Security Officer Access Management in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will manage visitor access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and professional customer service. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Tue01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Fri01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Sat01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Sun01:30 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and production personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, manage entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations within a media and technology environment. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access control documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
