What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
• Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet employees, contractors, and guests, verify credentials, and help manage access in accordance with site protocols.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support sign-in processes for visitors, deliveries, and scheduled appointments in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required logs, reports, and front desk documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive monitoring of entry points and security-related systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
