Position Overview The Quality Control Specialist ensures the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of consumer and real estate loan documentation, servicing, and post-closing activities. This role performs quality control reviews, loan maintenance verification, collateral tracking, insurance administration, and servicing support to ensure loans are processed in accordance with Credit Union Policies, investor requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Working closely with Loan Operations, Loan Servicing, Lending, Collections, and other departments, the Quality Control Specialist identifies errors, supports process improvements, and helps maintain quality throughout the loan lifecycle. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to review work products, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with internal standards. Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management to support process improvement, establish quality benchmarks, and help maintain consistent service levels. Candidates should possess skills in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or equivalent regulatory and compliance frameworks, with the ability to apply structured standards to financial and operational processes. Candidates should possess skills in Quality Auditing to conduct systematic reviews, document findings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with office software and data management tools; experience with financial services or credit union operations is beneficial. Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, quality management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in a quality-focused role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
