Maintenance Assistant

Cardinal CG is currently seeking a Part-time Maintenance Assistant at our Northfield MN Location. In this position, you will be asked to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including welding, grinding, machining and fabrication. As well as cleaning, fitting, sanding and painting of equipment and assemblies.

Shift available: Flexible, 1st shift preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00

Responsibilities:

• Support projects and equipment implementation.
• Bring project prototypes and assemblies to finished state.
• Weld and fabricate equipment as required.
• Maintain all work areas in clean organized fashion.
• Clean up after every shift and project.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Read, write and understand standard and metric measurement units.
• Proficiency with basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts related to manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in fabrication, welding and basic machining skills.
• Ability to operate and use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of computer software, including Windows/Word/Excel.
