Limited X-ray Technician/Medical Assistant needed for our busy Urgent Care in Van Nuys, CA. This is a full-time, flexible schedule opportunity. The X-ray Technician will be responsible for obtaining X-ray images of the patient using radiographic imaging. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting patient vitals, prepping exam rooms, and assisting providers when needed.
Job Functions:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain all imaging equipment.
- Follow instructions from physician on what areas of the body to x-ray.
- Prepare patients for x-rays.
- Take the patient’s vital signs and prepare them for examination by the doctor.
- Performs routine laboratory tests.
- Clean and prepare exam rooms between patients.
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Education/Certification:
- Limited X-ray Technologist Certification
- CPR & First Aid
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
