Title
Medical Assistant - Outpatient

Schedule
No weekends required. Floating required.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in an outpatient setting
- Front office experience required: patient check-in and insurance verification
- Epic experience required
- Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
- BLS (AHA or ARC only)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform patient check-in and insurance verification.
- Room patients and obtain vital signs.
- Label specimens and assist with basic outpatient procedures.
- Conduct phone triage, manage authorizations/forms, and handle pharmacy refill calls.
- Review laboratory results.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 80 hours
- Maximum RTO 7 days; no RTO within the first 2 weeks of assignment.
- MA certification must be from a DAPIP-accredited school.
- Two supervisor-level references from within the past year required at time of submission.
