These clinical duties include staffing Eastbank and Westbank consult services and seeing outpatients referred to the Infectious Diseases clinic. Other duties may involve staffing the inpatient telemedicine general infectious disease consult service, and staffing the antibiotic management team services. Educational responsibilities will include teaching students and residents who rotate on the infectious diseases consult service and may include staffing the infectious diseases fellows' clinic. There is also the opportunity to establish and/or collaborate on clinical research studies in an intellectually exciting environment.**Required Qualifications :*** Requirements include a medical (eg, DO, MD, MBBS, etc) degree, board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine, and completed fellowship training (or equivalent) in Infectious Diseases.* Applicants must have the ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of USA category while in the United States.**Pay and Benefits****Pay Range:** This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort. Total combined salary is anticipated to be in the range of $170,000 to $205,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians.
