Paralegal with Real Estate

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with Real Estate experience for a direct hire opportunity in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with a strong background in law firm support, real estate transactions, public finance, lending, government representation, or affordable housing matters.

The Paralegal with Real Estate will support attorneys and clients with loan closings, bond transactions, acquisitions, due diligence, title review, public records searches, and legal document preparation. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactional legal matters in a professional, team-oriented environment with supportive leadership, stable work, and a strong benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, proofread, and organize legal documents related to loans, bond transactions, acquisitions, closings, and due diligence matters.
- Assist attorneys with loan closings, document preparation, transaction coordination, and post-closing follow-up.
- Conduct title review, public records searches, legal research, and document analysis to support transactional matters.
- Organize and maintain legal files, closing binders, client documents, and matter-related records.
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, lenders, government entities, and other transaction participants.
- Manage a high volume of work, prioritize competing deadlines, and accurately track billable time.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support public finance, real estate, lending, government representation, and affordable housing legal matters.
- Prepare and coordinate loan closings, acquisitions, bond transactions, and due diligence documentation.
- Conduct title review, public records searches, document review, and legal file organization.
- Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents with accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail.

- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of law firm paralegal experience required.
- Experience with real estate transactions, lending, public finance, government representation, and/or affordable housing matters.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, legal procedures, transactional documents, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent typing, proofreading, word processing, written communication, and document drafting skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and O365.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and high-volume workloads.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and internal legal teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to accurately track billable time.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using Centerbase Cloud-Based Law Firm Management & Accounting software is a plus, but not required.
- Prior experience supporting governmental and private clients in transactional legal matters is preferred.
- Familiarity with bond transactions, affordable housing transactions, and complex loan documentation is preferred.
