Client intervention, peer review, therapy modalities, clinical documentation, AMA blocking, utilization reviews, etc.)Ensuring clients are receiving the highest quality of care and programs remain in full compliance with all state, licensing, and accreditation requirements at all timesDrive positive client and business outcomes through increased lengths of stay, continuation of care, and facility censusDeveloping operational processes and training materials to improve the clinical effectiveness of relevant residential and outpatient programs (e.g. intake, medication, therapy schedule, case management schedule, etc.)Provide clinical expertise, oversight, initiative, and leadership on a daily basis, including the supervision of associate Therapist as neededStep in for key positions (e.g. Program Directors/Managers, Therapists, Group Facilitators) and take on a caseload whenever necessaryRequirementsQualifications & SkillsLicense/Credentials: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or functional equivalent (required)Education: Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology)Experience: 3+ years of mental health experience and 1+ year(s) of management experience (required)Additional: Valid CA Driver's License, Current Health Screen / Physical, TB Test Clearance, Current CPR/First Aid certificate, Able to Pass Live Scan (required)Key QualitiesBlend of clinical expertise and business administration skillsStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityCompassion for clients and employees in all interactionsEmotional stability under pressureExceptional leadership skills and execution capabilitiesCompany DescriptionAkua Behavioral Health is California's leading mental health and substance abuse treatment center.
