\n \nH80 – General Medicine/Telemetry is a collaborative acute care unit dedicated to providing exceptional care for adults with various health concerns, that may include congestive heart failure, diabetes or other complex medical needs. H80 offers nurses a dynamic and rewarding environment where you will build expertise in clinical assessment, care coordination, and patient-centered care while working within a supportive team that promotes professional growth and development.

A caregiver in this position works day/night rotations every 6 weeks: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm/ 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Provide direct nursing care.
\n
\n

Implement and monitor patient care plans.
\n

Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
\n
\n

- \n
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
\n
\n

- \n
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
\n
\n
\n \n
\n
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program)
\n
\n
- \n
- \n
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
\n
\n
- \n
- \n
One year of current Acute Care RN experience OR military RN experience
\n
\n
- \n
- \n
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
\n
\n
\n \n
\n
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
\n
\n
\n \n \n
Physical Requirements:
\n- \n
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. \n
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. \n
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. \n
- Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. \n
- Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids. \n
- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. \n
- Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. \n

- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. \n

Pay Range
\n \nMinimum hourly: $35.50
\n \nMaximum hourly: $55.60
\nThe pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
